This portfolio aims to explore this question: What does it mean to identify as "queer?" In the "context" page, I discuss the concept of queer identification as it relates to college students at large. The "evolution" page shares my personal statement about my experience with this question as it relates to my journey as a writer. Last, the "process" page serves to give a backstage glimpse at what drove the project through to completion.

Though this subject can be approached through the disciplines of sociology and psychology, I feel that the best way I can do this is through performance. Therefore, this process culminates into one final performative project in junction with my music degree that I've entitled Lilac Wine, archived here on this site in the "film" and "performance" pages.
